Caption:An oblique view of the crater Humboldt, as photographed by the Fairchild metric camera in the SIM bay of the Apollo 15 Command/Service Module in lunar orbit. This view is looking south. Humboldt, which is 200 km (124 statute miles) in diameter, is located at 81 degrees east longitude and 27 degrees south latitude. The 3-inch mapping camera was one of eight lunar orbital science experiments located in the SIM bay.
